Haakon Andersen

AndersenI live in Tønsberg, the oldest city of Norway and enjoy the life with a wonderful wife and three children. I graduated from Dental Faculty of Oslo 1997 and today I am a partner in a Private Dental Clinic in Tønsberg ( My interest has always been the aesthestic side of dentistry and I have been chasing the skills of this side of dentistry over several years attending courses in Norway and Scandinavia. It was not until I stumbled over Ian Buckle’s introductory lecture a few years ago that I started to understand the importance of uniting function with aesthetics for better predictability. I was brought up with “tooth by tooth dentistry,” but have now grown into more “Complete Dentistry” which actually makes more sense. Ever since dentistry has become work and hobby.

The learning curve has been a steep one, I am still climbing; enjoying the view more step by step.

Anna Karlsson

dr. anna karlsson dawson academy ukDr. Anna Karlsson graduated from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm Sweden in 2006. She currently runs a private practice in the Old Town of Stockholm with the focus on aesthetic dentistry, functional occlusion and TMJ problems.

Ever since I started working I have had a special interest in bruxism and TMJ problems. I awoke with the knowledge of Centric relation in 2013 at a course in Sweden and ever since then sought for more knowledge in function and occlusion. My journey with the Dawson Academy and the Core Curriculum started in Florida, USA in February 2015 and finished with the last module out of seven in September 2016 in the Wirral, UK. During fall 2016 I started a Dawson Study club in Stockholm where I am the Study Club leader.

The gained knowledge through the core curriculum has really been revolutionary for my everyday work with my patients and I’m really honored to be back at the Dawson Academy UK, as an Ambassador, helping out with the core curriculum.”

Dr. Karlsson lives outside Stockholm, Sweden with my husband Robin and two kids; Victor (2006) and Ella (2008)

Robin Pettersson – Ambassador Dawson Academy UK

dr. petersson dawson academy ukDr. Pettersson graduated from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm Sweden in 2006. He currently runs a private practice in the central part of Stockholm with the focus on implantology, oral surgery and complete dentistry.

I have completed the Core curriculum with the Dawson Academy, in Florida, US and the Wirral, UK through Feb 2015 to Sept 2016. The complete dentistry and functional approach in dentistry taught by the Dawson Academy has really changed my everyday work tremendously. I am not only a better dentist but also a happier person. To go back to the Dawson Academy UK as an Ambassador is a great privilege for me.”
