Understanding where the teeth fit in the patient’s face and how they relate to each other, the temperomandibular joints, muscles and proprioreception is critical to the success of any treatment plan. The diagnostic wax up is absolutely key in this process and only once this has been developed can the appropriate materials and procedures be considered.

In this largely hands on course you will learn:

  • How to identify facial and tissue landmarks
  • Understand the plane of occlusion
  • Understand bone reaction to tooth loss
  • Understand vertical dimension determinants
  • Understand tooth size, contour and position
  • Quick and simple waxing skills will be taught to help with the visualization process.

The goal of the course is to provide participants working tools so as to gain complete control of the 3D treatment planning process.
