Course Description

Traditionally full mouth rehabilitation has involved invasive treatment protocols often utilising full coverage crowns. This can be destructive of tooth substance, expensive for the patient and when it fails it can fail with disastrous consequences. These days both dentists and patients alike are looking to conserve tooth structure and provide cost effective solutions whilst at the same time maximising aesthetics and allowing treatment to be scheduled over time.

On day one, an optional dinner will be hosted for the class at a nearby restaurant at approximately 5:30 / 6pm – 1st night (Thursday only)

Dr Ian Buckle: Dr. Ian Buckle qualified from Liverpool University in 1985. He has over 30 years of experience in general practice both in the private sector and with the National Health Service. As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), British Dental Association (BDA) and Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), he completes over 100 hours of postgraduate education every year. As The Dawson Academy UK’s Clinical Director, Dr. Ian Buckle lectures nationally and internationally on functional and aesthetic dentistry. He is directly involved with the hands-on courses of the Core Curriculum, seminars, and study clubs and provides continuing education to dental professionals, across Europe. He spends approximately two-thirds of his time in practice and the other third as an educator. He believes this balance keeps him on the leading edge of both disciplines.

Dr Dipesh Parmar: Dr. Dipesh Parmar graduated from the University of Birmingham (UK) where he obtained numerous prizes and now works at Acorn Dental with a focus on aesthetic minimally-invasive dentistry. He has held a clinical lecturer teaching post at Birmingham Dental School and has won multiple awards at the UK Aesthetic Dentistry Awards. He lectures globally (UK, Poland, Middle East, New Zealand, Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles) on aesthetic resin techniques for the general practitioner.
